 A brief " Les Corvington" history.

The band started in 1964, That year we were playing mostly private parties. Serge Guerrier joined us in late 1965 as the lead singer. Gradually people started to hear about us and we were getting quite popular. In 1966, besides playing in private parties, school organized events etc.. we also played in different hotels like: Montana, Villa Creole, Hibolele and on Sundays during the summer in Horse-Back  and L'Auberge. in late 1967 we started loosing some members of the band that we had to replace. We still were playing in Hotel Hibolele and other parties. In May 1968 My brother left for the US. I had to replace him for the remaining few months until September 1968, When I left Haiti to go to New York.
